a space of moving sound, image, text, and bodies

The 2026 edition of LT.art Vienna, titled Polyphony of Space, invites the exploration of a pluricultural mythological worldview in which the sky, the earth, the underworld, and other parallel realms coexist and collaborate simultaneously.

Through the festival’s events, visitors are encouraged to reflect on their relationship to the spaces, places, phenomena, and states they inhabit and move through. Domestic interiors, public spaces, digital spaces, rigid social structures, more-than-human environments, and ephemeral events intersect as forms of vertical spatial politics continually interact, overlap, and resist one another.

Grounded in everyday encounters and invisible connections, the festival unfolds as a space of moving sound, image, text, and bodies. It reverberates through the senses, both attracting and disrupting the turbulence of daily life through aesthetic instability.

By creating a temporary ecology of practices and opening space for collective recalibration, the festival becomes a living multivocal fabric — sustaining connections while breaking limiting and harmful patterns.
